It didn't show up when a configuration page was printed. I turned power off and removed it to see if there were any obvious burned spots or messed-up connector pins. After several minutes, I plugged it back in and turned the power back on. It has been working ever since! Fred.

Long story long, it DID get past where it used to lock up and started to get past the hardware configuration before locking up at "Kernelized RAIDFRAME activated". The line previous was the "md0:" line. Still cannot drop into DDB, all that works is the reset combination. Hope this helps.
